It is with great sadness that we report Jeremy Lusk succumbed to his injures tonight at 11:03pm PST. He was surrounded by his loving Mother and father, Chuck & Gina Lusk, his wonderful wife Lauren, his mother and father in law Lyne & Larry along with his closest Mulisha friends Brian Deegan, Ryan Hagy, Cameron Steele & Erik Apple. He is now with our Heavenly Father and is at peace. We know he is performing sick tricks for all those in Heaven to crowds greater than we have ever seen. We will miss you Pitbull!
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers go out to the Lusk family, his friends, and fans. Very sad to hear about this tragic loss. If I can offer any advice to the FMX riders, its this. Costa Rica is a 3rd world country that lacks many essential services, namely state of the art medical care. Please think carefully about ever performing in Costa Rica, or any other 3rd world country going forward. What you do is awe inspiring but also extremely dangerous. Should you need medical card due to an accident, you might not get the care you need in places like Costa Rica. I am also concerned about some of the comments I have read that Jeremy made about the condition of the ramps in Costa Rica. While the Costa Ricans, "Ticos", are kind, generous people, they also have a very lax attitude about personal safety. Your profession is way to dangerous to have that kind of attitude even remotely involved. To all the riders, please think carefully about ever competing in this country ever again.

ReplyDeletenow he is with the real "GODFATHER" Evil Knievel. i can just picture the millions of fans cheering them as they jump 18 buses while doing multiple back flips side by side. both my sons are huge Mulisha fans and we are all heart broken. in my 40yrs ive watched this sport grow to what it is today and am greatful riders like Jeremy attacked life with the same attack he used on the next jump. we are sporting our Mulisha gear in honor of their fallen solider. thanks Jeremy, you are loved, missed and always respected, a fan
ReplyDeleteI don't watch motocross personally and I had never heard of Jeremy before this incident, but from what I saw, his form was flawless and his character fearless. Few people reach such heights in their lifetime.

Although I did not know Jeremy personally, my son and husband race mx I know how close-knit the mx community is. His wife and family will be taken good care of by everyone.
