Update #3

Ok, more good news.

1:40pm 2/8/2009

They were able to close his skull, the swelling went down enough!
Now it is just a healing process.
If they can air-vac him out it will be to Miami with the family, hopefully by end of week.

  21. UPDATE (from Costa Rica):

I've just saw in the news. I'm not a Dr, so I'll just repeat what I heard.

All his vital signs are STABLE. However he's in 'induced coma'. Maybe a Dr can explain better, but in the news said that is for trying to help the brain heal.

His wife was on the news, she confirmed the Dr said the same for her.

  25. Jeremy Is such a big inspiration to alot up and coming riders. He shows what the human body is actually capable of doing when you put your mind to something. He Challenges that of which is thought to be IMPOSSIBLE! He is So Strong mentally and physically to have progressed in the sport of FMX as much as he has. He, just like many other injured riders DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE from all the effort and mental games they have put themselves through. I have said my prayers for Jeremy and his and Laurens Family Alike. Now its time for anyone elses prayer as well to help Jeremy Through This to a successful Recovery. 'May the lord be watching your every breath Jeremy to your first moment of consiousness.'

    In Christian Love,
    Guillermo
