  25. I have one of the biggest political blogs in the Eastern United States, The Rural Democrat, and I am shutting it down for a few days for Jeremy. I hope the tens of thousands of folks that read my blog, that may not be familiar with FMX, get a little taste of Lusk. I will miss him and I am also looking forward to watching him jump the pearly gates when its my time to go! I bet he is already asking Saint Peter for a ramp!

  30. What the hell is the promoter of this man, Jeremy Lusk, freaking doing letting him perform in a country with minimal medical assistance if something like this happens? Look at the video frames and watch how the “responders” acted, it’s a joke. This is nothing more than a third world medical response crew, its crap and he deserved better.

I am curious how the hospital dealt with his condition and I KNOW that they were not as well equiped to deal with this type of situation as our american hospitals would have been.

If Jeremy was doing this IN ANY AMERICAN CITY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, he would likely be alive today.

Has anyone not thought of this?

I am sorry for the family with his loss and I understand their pain, but this is something that they need to look into.

  35. As someone who has seen a dear friend loose his life and leave a 21 year old widow behind, doing exactly what Jeremy loved to do. I give my heart to you all. There are no amount of tears or words that will take this pain from you. As a young mother bringing up two sons who vow to become motor X champions I take great caution in holding them from that. Jeremy died doing what he loved. And though this time is hard on you, he is smiling. Take this one day at a time. I know it is hard to do. But honestly don't even think about what needs to be done tomorrow. Sleep with his pillow and ware his old shirts to bed. Make his favorite food and listen to his Ipod. Wrap youself in him and all he is. There is no past-tense in life. Don't say things like he was, say he is. He will always be in your heart. And time will never again present a man like him. So don't forget anything about him. I wish I could take the pain you feel upon myself. I couldn't imagine loosing my son, husband and best friend. I hope that with time, the pain will pass. He loves all of you!

  36. It is true what someone said eairlier in the blog. I have seen many blunt head trama and. I truly believe that the doctors there were wanting to take him off his meds too soon. They shouldn't have even attempted it. His brain was "very sick" for lack of better words. They should have waited another 48 hours at least to attempt it. Or even better just waited until he arrived in america. I know the speculation doesn't relieve any of your pain. However I feel this should be lesson to all promoters and all riders. Sometimes the rush isn't worth it. Fans all over the world watch you when you ride in America. There is no need to go else where. I am truley sorry for you loss. My prayers are with all family and friends. May God bless you all with strength to get through this.
